Shame, shame...avoid this product!!!!! I am very disappointed with Iolo. I have used there products for years and until recently was very happy. I have System Mechanic Professional 6 which has worked until about 4 months ago. If you read some of the other reviews you see a trend with the same problem. <

I havent had the time to review all its features yet, but everything so far is very good
Why I will not upgrade to this version!
When I first used system Mechanics 6, I really like it. It cleaned a lot of junk stuff in my computer. I stay away from their firewall and antivirus, since I like to use Nortron for that purpose. As soon as system mechanic 7 was on sale, every time I run my system mechanics 6, I get a pop up window from Iolo, urging me to upgrade to version 7(for only $49.00!)I tried everything to stop that annoying window with no success. I contacted their tech support with no help either. I do not understand why Iolo forcefully, wants the owners of SM 6 to upgrade to the SM 7.
