most reliable out of the different colors
Having owned my xbox for about four years now, i will say that the microsoft S controllers are superior in quality to second and third party products and more often then not, a comfortable alternative to the initial controller Dukes that came with the system early on.<
>I have all three colors of the S (hooray!), but due to constant travel of my system and its controllers between friends' houses, the blue and the green have become unresponsive. This is probably because of my practice of tightly wrapping the cords around the controller before transport. so beware: DO NOT TIGHTLY WRAP THE CORDS AROUND THE CONTROLLER! <
>despite these years of abuse, the black has continued to troop on, leaving me to believe it is the best.
Worst controller of it's time
This controller, while being smaller than the original, is still huge and clunky. It's also difficult to operate. Out of the console controllers it compete's with it is the worst. I would rank them as follows:<

>3. Dreamcast controller<
>4. Xbox controller<

>I use the Gamester controller instead, that way I'm not continually hitting the wrong buttons.
