Customer Reviews of Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel
A good wheel with "hopes" for better drivers I bought this wheel about 1 month ago and I have to say I really like it. It worked really well with PGR3, Forza2, and Dirt. I found the wheel to be very responsive, and the folks here saying that they have not gotten realistic play... well, all I can say is that if you've been steering with a controller all your life, it WILL take time to switch to pedals and wheels. <

>The reason I bought the MS one is because I know the company will back it up. I've even sent in a suggestion to MS to provide a small calibration tool through XBOX so people can tune in their own sensitivities, ranges, and center locations. The force feedback is decent, especially in Dirt where every single gear click or road gravel is sent through to your palms. The only problem I have with it right now is that I am placing it on my lap, but with a new Playseat coming along hopefully my experience will be even better.
ticked off
Well at first I absolutely loved the wheel it provides a greater sense of realism to an already fantastic game forza 2... after a while i was having a real hard time getting adjusted to the way the wheel gripped the corners and i found myself oversteering a lot and thought for a couple of days I would get used to it... Well those couple of days elapsed and I still wasnt improving my skills and late one night, in a fit of rage, boxed the wheel up and returned it!!! Now looking back at all of these reviews I think I have realized that I never plugged the ac adaptor in for the force feedback and that would explain the reason for the wheel not being that responsive... I'm just an idiot who should have read the instuctions before jumping into the game... I'm kicking myself right now and I ask anyone who buys the product to not plug in the adaptor and respond to this review telling me how big of a difference it is, without the force feedback and I might think about buying the product again. I will commend you if you are able to win more than a couple of races on hard without the force feedback... Let me tell you how frustrating it was, I thought the wheel would improve the gameplay not make me want to throw it off of my balcony!!! (It probably would have had I been using the product right)
SICKK!
Alright, So today I received my Microsoft Wheel and wow was I pleased, I loved playing it more on PGR but it worked well on both, I am buying DiRT 2mrrow and I hope it's just as good on that. The wheel i think is really great because it's stable, force feedback is great and NOT laggy, awesome design with some chrome finishes. I give it a 4 stars, only because the pedal and wheel are not wireless, but when I am racing @ 211 MPH in my McLaren F1, who the hell gives a damn! PS. My Mom Loved It 2 :)
