Customer Reviews of Wild Tigers I Have Known
The Urgency of Now This is one of those films that when you first see it, it shocks you with its intensity. There hasn't been a really great film, at least that I can think of (and I do see a lot of movies!) about what it is like to grow up different. <
>Wild Tigers is also intense on another level virtually unexplored by movies and that is the boredom of being a kid. Literally these kids in the film lay around and stare at the wall; yet Cam Archer makes it interesting because he is aware of the interiors of his characters. There are moments when you feel as if you know what these kids are feeling and yet powerless to make it any better (like most adults). <
>Most people might be turned off by the homoerotic storyline but actually that is where it is most interesting, like Brokeback Mountain. <
>Not everyone really knows what it is like to be different (and they probably don't care to know) but this films seeks to explore what it is like to grow up being different. <
>Right there is where the film is most powerful because Cam Archer manages to say a lot with few words and a lot of images. By exploring the interiors of these bored kids Cam Archer has actually made an original film which I thought wasn't possible anymore. <
>If you can get past the differences of others and you are interested in what it is like to be different in all its painful incarnations you will find this movie interesting and heartbreaking. <

Tame pussies I have known
The movie centres on Logan, a quiet loner who doesn't fit in at school. Most of the other kids ignore Logan but one or two actively dislike him and make it abundantly clear. A geeky boy called Joey is Logan's only friend, although all they really have in common is that they have nothing in common with the rest of the kids at school. They're really just two lonely kids thrown togther by the need for friendship and yet unable to completely cross the divdies that seperate them from each other and from everyone else. Then, one day, one of the in-crowd, a popular older called Rodeo, notices Logan and Logan's life is changed forever.

>This is a movie that tries hard to be stylish and relevant and it mostly succeeds. the production values are excellent as is the acting, especially of the three main characters. Although deliberately stylized the movie does manage to caputure the awkwardness and infatuations that lay at the essence of adolescence. In short it smells like teen spirit but liberally doused in mum's perfume.
Good Movie
It's a bit cryptic at first, but you get the jist of it. Slightly disappointed in lack of dialog with the main characters - a lot of "B Roll" was used, sometimes a little too much (made if feel as tho the purpose was to run out time [filler]). Not as good as Transnation but better than Tarnation. I plan on buying the soundtrack tho - the song 'Wild Tigers I have Known' is awesome!
