WESTLIFE OR N'SYNC?.....CHOOSE YOUR PICK! Now for me, it'd be Westlife all the way. I hate N'Sync, so N'Sync wouldn't be for me (though some people may feel differently). I didn't put Backstreet Boys there because the BSB is my absolute favorite band in the entire world...so it'd be a pretty difficult question for me to answer! I personally recommend Westlife verses N'Sync. Though Westlife may sound like an Irish verion of the Backstreet Boys, they are their own, unique boy band, so they have their own sound and music. Westlife's voices blend beautifully together on this CD and their harmonies are solid and polished. The lyrics are beautiful, too. My favorite songs on this CD are "Swear It Again", "My Private Movie", "Can't Lose What You Never Had", and "Flying Without Wings". All the other songs are good, too. But these ones are the best. It's a real shame that Westlife isn't that popular here in the States because the Americans are sure missing out on a lot! But I wouldn't be too surprised if they ever do get very popular in the United States. I really wish people would stop comparing these guys to the Backstreet Boys -- the BSB will always be #1, but Westlife is not too far behind! I highly recommend this CD.
If you love the Backstreet Boys, then Westlife is for you.
Westlife is one of my new favorite boy bands. (Other new favorites include BBMack, LFO, and the even more recent, O-Town, and I also recommend these groups.) "Swear It Again" is the first song I heard by Westlife. The first time I heard that song, I completely fell in love with it. I loved it so much that I went out and bought the single for it. (Actually, I used my older sister's money to buy it and still haven't paid her back.) Anyway, it's a beautiful song. From the single, I got snipts from some of their others songs on this album which included "Can't Loose What You've Never Had", "I Don't Wanna Fight", "My Private Movie", and "Flying Without Wings". I loved all the songs (the parts that I heard, of course). I haven't bought the complete album yet but I'm certainly planning on doing so. Westlife takes after the Backstreet Boys -- except that the Backstreet Boys are American and Westlife are all Irish, so Westlife has more of an Irish accent to their vocals. And just like the Backstreet Boys, Westlife have beautiful vocal harmonies that blend in well together. The music from this album is amazing. The songs are wonderful and brilliant. And who knows? These major hunky guys of Westlife might be the next (major hunky, of course) Backstreet Boys! So if you love the Backstreet Boys then I recommend Westlife to you!
Finalmente un grupo de cantantes talentosos
Primero, quiero decir que a mi casi no me gustan los grupos como Backstreet Boys & los otros que ustedes ya han oido. Este grupo de chicos Westlife en realidad cantan estupendamente bien. A mi un companero de trabajo me presto este CD y me encanto mucho. Las voces de estos chicos deveras te invitan a que te aprendas las canciones. Despues, me di cuenta que Cristian Castro canto con estos chicos la famosa y hermosa cancion "Flying without wings" y no quiero sonar cursi, pero lo que hicieron de esta cancion fue una bonita obra de arte. La letra de esta cancion en particular me dejo pidiendo "OTRA, OTRA, OTRA". El resto del CD continua con mas baladas que te pondran mas romantico y despertaran sentimientos que tal vez estaban ya por salir de ti.
