Chili, soups, stews, and roasts slowly cook to juicy perfection in this five-quart crockery cooker. Round in shape, both the cooker and the removable stoneware crock are decorated with a green-and-purple grapevine motif. The crock can be filled with food the night before, refrigerated with the lid on, and placed inside the cooker base (not preheated) the next morning before heading off to work. Three heat settings-keep warm, low, and high-allow flexibility in serving and cooking, and the cooker automatically adjusts to keep the temperature steady. For safety, an operating light lets the user know when the cooker is turned on and rubber feet keep the crock stable. Handles and the lid knob are heat-resistant.

While safe for use in the microwave and dishwasher, the durable stoneware crock is not intended for use in a conventional oven, on top of a burner, under a broiler, or in a freezer.
