Customer Reviews of Wedding Guestbook wooden Picture Puzzle
Nifty idea for a customized gift I don't know why this is listed as a "toy", which is why I gave it some "4"s. If they had me rate things like, "how original is this?" or "how likely are you to get another one", then I'd give them all 5's. <

>Give this guy a regular photo and he will scan it, or send him a QUALITY digital image and he will convert it to a wooden puzzle. I have one of these sitting in my office at work and it must be calling people because they keep picking it up and playing with it. :) <

>The seller has the photo printed professionally (not a Bubble Jet job that is prone to bleed when wet) and laminates that onto good panel-grade plywood, then cuts it into a puzzle in a shape you select (diamond, triangle, heart, amoeba, flower...). Cuts are made with a laser not with a jig saw. I've seen some pretty darned good jigsaw puzzles made of all natural woods for infants to play with, but they don't get close to the sharpness of this laser cutting. The edges of the puzzle are burnished by the laser which gives it a nice effect...and no saw marks. I think he can even handle your custom art work if you're so gifted (I'm not). <

>The puzzle I have wouldn't be a big challenge to solve because there aren't THAT many pieces, but I know he has lots of ways to cut the same proverbial loaf of bread. <

>I think these are about the most unique gifts you can give someone. If you are the type of person who would buy a mug with your honey's photo on it, or a T-shirt with your kid's artwork, scrap that and go for this. It might be a little more expensive than those things, but I can't say I've seen many of these anywhere. <

>If you're curious how these are made, ask. I'd say he's a details guy :)
