Solid Non-Flexible Spit -- Sorry Motors! The spit is a very thick steel bar that is difficult to bend. The forks and clamps to hold the food are solid with thick chrome. The motor is made in Taiwan and my first one came in dead on arrival. Read up on the other Weber Rotisseries reviewed by other customers and you will see the motor is a weak point.
