Customer Reviews of Wave Ceptor Atomic Watch - WVA104HLA-8V
Good accurate watch, at a good price. Not a looker but better than many other sport watches. Decent looking watch if you want a sport watch with basic stop watch functionality and alarm. The digital screen is small, but that's partly why the watch looks decent. Synch works fine from Seattle, especially downtown area. The band on this watch is cheap - stitched vinyl composite. The band looks ok with the watch (not great, ok), but I'm guessing it won't be very durable -- see other reviewers' comments on this watch about band durability. There are other WVA104 versions with metal or resin bands if you're looking for a stronger band. The watch is fairly thick -- not Suunto thick, but kind of chunky for dress shirts with button cuffs. <

>If Casio comes and reads this review for product feedback, I suggest they make future versions thinner and more attractive. In the world of casual work wear, there is a market niche for a watch you can wear under a dress shirt, feel confident about coworkers or dates seeing, and wear for a bike ride home or for a run. I would pay $150 for a watch with this functionality that was 1/3 or even 1/2 as thick and had a moderate upgrade in materials.
A watch should be accurate
The Waveceptor has all the functions of much more expensive watches plus keeps truly accurate time which others can't claim. Case and face scratch easily but for this price you can get a new one every couple of years.
Band broke
Purchased this watch December 2005. The band broke July 2006. Casio would not replace the band, but would sell me another one for over $20.00. Very cheap band. Think I would order a better watch from a more reliable company.
