Customer Reviews of Walton: Façade; Lambert: Rio Grande; Bliss: Things to Come; Warlock: The Curlew; etc.
Walton, Lambert, etc Most of these are superb performances, but the recordings are from 1930s-vintage 78-rpm discs. The sound ranges from nasty to startlingly good, considering, and of course, they're all in MONO. As in, NO STEREO. (It could be worse; they could be in faked stereo.) If you can forgive the primitive audio, this is an enjoyable recording. "Facade" is spectacularly weird; a gas!
