Space rock? I hate to be the first person to review this and give it a bad rating but this just did not impress. I bought this because I read somewhere that this was the best of the Ohio Space rock scene had to offer.
Intrigued to hear what space rock was, I got this CD and now know that Space Rock is wanna-be pop with uncreative use of "space type" noises. Except for "At the Arcade", no song merits more than the initial listen.
For those in LA, Amoeba Music wouldn't even take it when I tried to get a buck back for it. You will be looking at your watch after song seven. Two stars only because I only reserve one star for Ex-Models and their horrid 'math rock' (believe it or not this is a genre). I'm done with anything where only five bands can be identified to make up a whole genre!
