Customer Reviews of WWE Royal Rumble 2000
Predictable Rumble, but amazing undercard! Royal Rumble 2000
Angle V Tazz
This was a fairly good opener, and it was Tazz's debuet. The ending was weird, but overall it was ok. 6/10
Table Match Hardys V Dudleys
This match was fantastic. A ladder and quite a few chairs come into play as well as a lot of broken tables! It's high flying and hardcore, with some amazing moves. One of the best matches I've seen as the action never slowed. 10/10
Swimsuit Competiton
The ending is really disgusting, and the whole thing is a joke.
1/10
IC title Jericho V Hardcore Holly V Chyna
This was a good 3 way match, and they use a chair too. Chyna didn't really need to be in it though. 7/10
Tag titles APA V New Age Outlaws
This match was way too short and the end is unfair as X-Pac comes in. The action was ok though. 5/10
Street fight for WWE title Triple H V Cactus Jack
This was an amazing match, even better than the table match from earlier. It's very brutal with lots of weapons including Barbed Wire 2x4, Chairs, Handcuffs, Tacks and bricks! There's plenty of bllod and it's pretty sick. One of my best matches ever. 10/10
Royal Rumble
Only 2 people really had a winning chance in this, Big Show and The Rock. They were the last 2 in the ring - far too predictable! It was still ok though. 7/10
Overall it was a good PPV with 2 Incredible matches (table + street fight). The Rumble itself was a little too predictable and the swimsuot competition was stupid, but overall a great PPV. 4/5
WWF Royal Rumble 2000
The WWF started off the new Millennium with a Bang, Bang (cute pun, eh?) with the Royal Rumble 2000 pay-per-view. A hugely entertaining event overall, this is surely one for the library. In a complete run-down...
Tazz made his WWF debut in a short but fair opener against Kurt Angle... The Hardy Boyz took on The Dudley Boyz in a jaw-dropping Double Tables match... Mae Young won a bikini contest (which also featured Terri, The Kat, Jacqueline, Ivory, Luna and B.B.) before grossing the world out by exposing her 'puppies'... Chris Jericho tangled with Chyna and Bob Holly in a sloppy Three Way Dance for the Intercontinental title... World tag champs The New Age Outlaws faced The Acolytes in a disappointing bout... World Heavyweight champion Triple H brawled with Cactus Jack in gory, bone-bustingly brutal 'street fight'... And, finally, The Rock survived an average 30-man Royal Rumble match to earn his #1 contender spot.
One of the best WWF supercards of the year, TRR 2000 is a tape that surely deserves to be in every grappling fan's collection.

Kurt Angle V. Tazz
Good Opener with Tazz just dominating with suplexes. Tazz wins by chokeout. So Angle should have one, but didn't. **1/2
Tables Match:
The Hardy Boyz V. The Dudley Boyz
Great first Tables match with some awesome spots. The Hardyz wins. ***1/2
Triple Threat Match of the Intercontinental Championship:
Chris Jericho V. Hardcore Holly V. Chyna
The title was vacant in my eyes. Jerihco & Chyna were co-champions. Late 1999 and very early 2000 made the Intercontinental Title look like a joke until Angle won it. By the way, Jericho won. **3/4
WWF Tag Team Championship:
New Age Outlaws (Champions) V. The Acolytes
Very short match, about 5 minutes long with the Acolytes killing the champs until X-Pac comes down and helps the Outlaws retain. Like X-Pac can beat up Bradshaw. Give me a break. *
Street Fight for the WWF Championship:
Triple H (Champion) V. Cactus Jack
Awesome fight, and i do mean, fight. Foley kicks the holy hell out of Triple H bu Triple H retains the Championship and what a performance by both men. Give them alot of credit. ****3/4
Royal Rumble Match:
I think it's one of the most boring Rumbles ever. The Rock wins it even though he didn't. I could of told you that right after it happened. **
Overall, a good Rumble, it could have been a little more entertaining. The Rumble match was lacking big names. A *** star Rumble. It would be lower if not for the Street Fight, Mick and Hunter's performances, & the Tables Match.
