You should read this review before you buy this DVD because unlike the other reviewers, I've watched the DVD. Here's all the info:
First, this is done documentary style so you don't get to see all the matches in their entirety. For example, when they talk about the Bret Hart vs. Isaac Yankem, they show 2 short clips of the wrestlers but mainly focused on how Jerry Lawler gave him self a nose bleed while hanging from a steel cage above the ring...for dramatic effect. So, if you're like me, you want to know which matches are shown in their entirety and here they are:

2. Bruno Sammartino vs. Ivan Koloff
3. Don Muraco vs. Jimmy Snuka
4. Bob Backlund vs. Stan Hansen
5. Tully Blanchard vs. Magnum TA
6. Ric Flair vs. Dusty Rhodes
7. Rock 'n' Roll Express vs. The Andersons
8. Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart
9. Mankind vs. Triple H
10. Shawn Michaels vs. Marty Jannetty
11. Edge vs. Kurt Angle
That's it, all the other matches are shown in clips while other wrestlers make comments on the matches. Still, this DVD is a must buy for steel cage fans. It contains the greatest steel cage match of all time, Bret vs. Owen, which makes the DVD worth buying for this match alone. The WWE even seems to think so because they showed ALL of the match including the aftermath and post-match interview with Owen. If you've never seen it, you're in for a thrill. Owen and Bret did all those little things that made the match not only intense but make you believe the match was a shoot! Plus, it's great to see the old WWF cage matches with Snuka, Muraco and Backlund. I would have preferred a 3 disc set that contained all the matches and no documentary, but this is still worth buying because you can't get most of these matches on video anymore, not to mention DVD. Pick it up if you're a die hard fan of the cage match. PS - to the reviewer that wondered why the Mankind vs. Rock vs. Shamrock match wasn't included it's because when the WWF lost it's lawsuit with the original WWF and was forced to change their name to WWE, part of the lawsuit victory for the WWF included to force the WWE to censor the WWF logo from all their videotapes and footage from the "attitude" era (this is when the WWF violated their agreement with the WWF to only use the initials in America). So, all the WWF logos and verbal refrences to the WWF would have to be censored from the match and as you'll see in the documentary when they show clips from the attitude era, this is VERY distracting. I guess the WWE didn't want to butcher the video in order to include it on this DVD.

Worthy of the title
Many die hard wrestling fans have been waiting for WWE to tap its vast tape library and release hard to find classic matches on DVD. With this DVD, WWE does that plus more.
The Coach acts as host as the angles that led up to the matches are explained, then clips of the matches are shown. In some cases the full match is a DVD extra.

Oddly, the DVD case lists the Backlund/Patterson match as shown in its entirety, but it is slightly clipped. I didn't think it dectracted anything from the match.

I was disapointed in the Sammartino/Koloff match as it was little more than a squash for Bruno. Then again, it was 1975.
I have no idea why they included the Yankem/Hart match since this is hardly a bright spot in the career of Bret Hart or Glen Jacobs. Very little of the actual match is shown! Instead you get the hilarious antics of Jerry Lawler. Of course, by hilarious I mean not at all funny.

These flaws aside, the match choices are spot on. They range from the interesting for historical reasons to the must-see, with many matches in the latter category. If you're unfamiliar with the old NWA stuff on this disk you'll just have to take my word that matches like Blanchard/Magnum and RNR/Anderson rock the house and you need to see them as soon as possible.

Easter Eggs:
I've only found two. On disk one: go to extras, highlight Muraco/Snuka and push right. You get the full video of Buddy Rogers interviewing Muraco which ends with Snuka diving over the top rope at Muraco. Note the colorful language Muraco uses to insult Tito Santana.
One disk two: go to extras, highlight Bret/Owen and push right. You get the full promo Owen cut before Summerslam from inside the steel cage. Pretty cool stuff.

Overall, this is one of the best DVD releases by the WWE. If you don't like this set you must not be a wrestling fan because there's something here for everyone. Even Dusty Rhodes fans.
