>1. The money in the bank ladder match- Now this is what you call a great way to kick off the show. This I would say is a step up from last years ladder match but a step down from the first one. There was some good action to kick off the show that included some sick ladder shots that busted people wide open. There was one spot in the match that was amazing when Jeff set Edge on a ladder and Jeff climbed to the top of the ladder inside the ring and jumped off it which sent edge crashing through the ladder and broke it in half. Another nice spot were randy orton hit an RKO on Finlay from the top of the ladder. One more sick spot was when Little Bastard was set on Mr. Kennedy's shoulders and jumped off the ladder and sent him crashing to the canvas below. Just an awesome match to kick off the show. Winner Mr. Kennedy. Match Rating 9/10. <
>2. Kane vs. The Great Kalhi- Now this is what we thought it would be and that is a crap fest. Some people say Kane has lost his touch but I just think this was because of his opponent who cant wrestle. This was a lot of chops and boots. The one spot in the match that Kane picked up Kalhi and scooped slammed him down but that's about it. Winner The Great Kalhi. Match Rating 3/10. <
>3. Chris Beniot vs. MVP for the U.S. title- This was actually a solid match. Going into this match I was not to sure what you were going to see but this was just a solid wrestling match. MVP controlled a lot of this match but than beniot fought back and hit a head but off the top rope. Winner and still US Champ Chris Beniot. Match Rating 7/10. <
>4. Batistia vs. Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Title- This was indeed a show stealer. Now I will say this was no steamboat savage like wrestlemania 3 but both guys stepped there game up here. There was some great action to start with a lot of outside ring action but than there was a classic undertaker spot were he jumped over the top rope on to batistia on the outside. There was also another nice spot were Batistia power slammed Taker through the table on the outside. Than there were a lot of near falls in a row were you were almost positive taker was going to win the title but Batistia kept on kicking out. Than batistia hit a batistia bomb on taker but taker kicked out again. After some back and forth action taker finished him off with a tombstone piledriver to close a great match by both men. Winner and new world heavy weight champ Undertaker. Match Rating 9/10. <
>5. The ECW Originals vs. The New Breed- This was not the show stealer I was hoping for. This was not terrible but this was not given the time it was needed and they had plenty of it considering the show ended a half hour early. Also the sad thing was the next week they did the same match on TV and it was a hardcore match that was ten times better than this. To short and just passable. Winner The Ecw Originals. Match Rating 5/10. <
>6. Bobby Lashley with Donald Trump vs. Umaga with Vince McMahon loser gets there head shaved- This was actually not that bad of a match. This for me was more of the entertainment factor than it was the wrestling factor. A lot of this match had Umaga control it but bobby fought back. When he tried to fight back shane mcmahon came down and went coast to coast and drive a trash can into bobby's face. After Austin came back in he cleaned house and lashey hit a spear for the win. After the match vince got his head shaved and he ended up leaving Donald with a stunner. Winner Bobby Lashley. Match Rating 7.5/10. <
>7. Melina vs. Ashley for the wwe womens title- This was a filler to slow the crowd down after that match. This was just terrible there was nothing fun about this match. It was about 5 minutes long which was the right amount of time. Melina got the win which was the only good thing about this. Winner and still wwe womens champ Melina. Match Rating 3/10. <
>8. John Cena vs. Shawn Michales for the wwe title- This was another great match. I was not expecting this to be a bad match so it was no surprise it was good. It started out a little slow but than Michales hit a moon Sault off the ropes to the outside. After that there was just a lot of solid wrestling including Michales getting busted wide open. The last 6 minutes of this match was amazing as there were so many near falls and reversals but cena ended getting the win again by tap out which sucked. Winner and still wwe champ John Cena. Match Rating 9/10. <

>Well that raps up another. I would give Wrestlemania 23 a grade of 52.5/80 which is a 66% which means this is a good ppv. People will look at this rating and be shocked well don't let this rating fool you. There were just to terrible match and a barley passable that made the grade so low. If you look at every thing else you have to great title matches and a great ladder match also the lashey match and beniot was still solid so I do recommend for you to pick this dvd up. If u can tell me if my review was helpful or not I would appreciate that thanks for your time. <

Money In The Bank Ladder Match
<
>Mr. Kennedy vs. Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Edge vs. Randy Orton vs. King Booker vs. Finlay vs. CM Punk
<
>This match was very exciting and fun to watch. Alot of great spots. The best of them all was when Jeff Hardy did a leg drop off the top of a ladder onto Edge who was on another ladder on the outside. Jeff broke the ladder in half with his leap. Jeff said he was going to steal the show at Wrestlemania again, and he did it. There were plenty of other spots like an RKO to CM Punk from the top of a ladder among many others. Hornswoggle even makes an apperance but gets beat up by Kennedy who the goes on to win after hitting Punk with a ladder. Overall a very good match

>Kane vs. The Great Khali
<
>I'm a big fan of big man vs. big man, but this didn't live up to my expectations. They should of added a stipulation like Last Man Standing or something. Kane's hook comes into play and he low blows Khali with it. Kane also slams Khali. That was the highlight of the match. Khali wins after a double handed chokeslam.

>MVP vs. Chris Benoit (US Title)
<
>MVP used a red white and blue atire signifying that he was the next US champ, and early in the match he wrestled like it too. He countered almost all of Benoit's submissions. He was beating Benoit at his own game. Benoit changed the momentum when he hit the triple Germans on MVP. Then he went up top for a diving headbutt and got the 1-2-3.

>Winner: Chris Benoit (Still US Champ)

>Batista vs. The Undertaker (World Heavyweight Title)
<
>First off I don't know why they would put this match 4th when it should have been the main event. But anyways this was a phenominal match. Non stop action from beginning to end. Batista dominated early on but Undertaker changed that with a flying chlothsline. He then hit his signature leg drop off the appron sending thc=e champ to the floor. They stayed on the outside untill Batista slammed Undertaker through the announce table. When they got back in the ring Batista was back in control untill Undertaker hit the last ride. But Batista kicked out. Undertaker then hit the chokeslam and Batista still kicked out. Then after Batista recovered he hit the Batista Bomb. But Undertaker kicked out. Batista then tried to steal The Undertakers tombstone but failed. Undertaker hit the tombstone and won the title. If only it was given more time it would have been one of the greatest matches in Wrestlemania history.

>PS Undertaker also did a suicide dive over the top rope like he did last year against Mark Henry.

>ECW Originals (Rob Van Dam, Sabu, The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer) vs. The New Breed (Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von, Kevin Thorn, Matt Striker)
<
>This was okay. Why it wasn't extreme rules is beyond me, but it was allright. The beginning was slow with freequent tags from The New Breed as they isolated Tommy Dreamer. Later it picked up with more high flying action from Sabu and RVD. RVD pinned Striker after a 5 Star Frog Spash. The extreme rules match from the ECW show would have been a better fit for Wrestlemania, but this was okay.

>Bobby Lashley (Donald Trump) vs. Umaga (Mr. McMahon)
<
>Special Guest Ref. Stone Cold
<
>For me this ranks higher on the entertainment scale than on the wrestling scale. Back and forth until Stone Cold gets involved phisicly with Umaga. Umaga got sick of it and hit the Samoan Spike on Austin. Shane McMahon then came in and hit Coast To Coast on Lashley. Then he got out his ref. shirt and started to count out Lasley. But Stone Cold pulled him out and rammed him into the steel steps. Trump then runs around the ring and chlotheslines Vince. Umaga goes for the spike again but Austin has other ideas. He ducks and stuns Umaga. Then Lashley spears him to win the match. Mr. McMahon tried to get away and keep his hair, but Lashley went up the ramp and brought him back to the ring. McMahon was stunned by Stone Cold. Then Lashley and Trump shaved his head bald. Then Stone Cold delivered a stunner to Donald Trump.

>Lumberjill Match for the Women's Title Ashley vs. Melina
<
>Women's matches suck. Why do they give this stupid match a stipulation and not one for Kane/Khali or for the 8-Man Tag. I think the entrances are longer than the match itself. There were no good moves. Infact nothing about this is good. The only good women's match I've ever seen was Trish Status vs. Mickie James at last year's Wrestlemania. But this one was a dud. SKIP IT!

>John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels (WWE Title)
<
>This match had a much slower pace than th other world title match. HBK took the early advantage as he was out wrestling Cena. A few minutes into the match HBK hit a moonsault on the announce table. Later in the match HBK got busted open when he hit his head on the ring post. He then unintentionally super kicked the ref. HBK then took advantage as he pile drove Cena on the steel steps. Another ref came down and Cena kicked out of Sweet Chin Music. Michaels also kicked out of the FU. But Michaels couldn't escape the STFU. He had no choice but to tap. Cena retains. A marithon of a match ends with the wrong man winning!

>Overall this is a great PPV for both world title matches, the battle of the billionaires and the ladder match. Highly recommended.

By the book
This was a good Wrestlemania but lacked surprises. Usually Wrestlemania has a few surprises but this year was by the books. Unless you dont follow wreslting like I do, then you didnt know who was going win the matches. I knew who'd win the matches before they even took place. Yea write some comments about how im a jerk or how I should have placed bets in Vegas on this card. Its not really hard to figure out who is going win in wrestling if you watch every week.
