Customer Reviews of WKRP in Cincinnati
Finally, WKRP Is Being Released! Word is the 1st season of WKRP In Cincinnati is being released on DVD on April 3, 2007. TV Shows On DVD announced it earlier this month. Of course, the big question is will all the music be changed (due to FCC licensing) or only some of it? Since creator Hugh Wilson is involved with the DVD release, let's hope it's not a total disaster if they have to change some of the songs used. My only question now is: Why isn't this available for pre-order?
power of the viewing public arise!!!
I've realized that the reason I will never be a Gandhi-like figure is because the only cause I really feel passionate about is getting WKRP on DVD. That's something I would fast and chain myself to a building for.Andy's tight slacks...sigh. Please please bring this back soon.
It's about time!
Releasing this series on DVD is way overdue. A great, great show.

>I have to share my favorite joke from the show. Not one that most people would remember, like Carlson's turkey quote, the "phone police", etc. It's from the episode where the gang played softball against WPIG. When he learned that Les had arranged the game, Andy was upset and said, "Aw, Les, those guys are good -- they beat the Baptist church!" To an old Presbyterian slow-pitch player who lost again and again to the church league titans from the big Baptist church, that line was pure gold.
