Customer Reviews of Volo Stroller - Carbon
Volo fan I love this stroller! Before purchasing this stroller, I asked a lot of moms who already had it how they liked it. It's great for every day and especially for traveling. If you want a stroller that can recline and is still lightweight, get the Maclaren Triumph. If you don't need or want a reclining option, get this stroller. The handles are great and it's easy to fold. It's also very easy to clean. I often get bird poop on the stroller from this playground I frequent and it's really easy to clean off and maintain (and I have the Carbon color one). My stroller still looks brand new and I've had it for a year and a half and I've used it every day.
I wish I had found this sooner!
I am a mom to 4 kids, and have gone through countless numbers of strollers. When my youngest was too big for his infant car seat, I didn't want to lug his bulky stroller around. I purchased the Volo and I am more than thrilled with it! It is so lightweight, handles like a dream, and the mesh material is ingenious (think leaking sippy cups)! It folds so easily, and is plenty big enough that my tot is comfortable. What is even more amazing is that my husband, who is 6'3" (I am 5'4") can push it comfortably without having to hunch over the handles! Definitely worth the bucks!
Volo vs. Triumph
Someone wanted an opinion on the difference between the maclaren triumph and the maclaren volo stroller. I did some shopping and realized that I still prefered the Volo Stroller because of its weight. The Triumph is still about 1 pound or more heavier. I tried them both and put both on my shoulder since they both have the shoulder straps. The volo had its canopy and seat cover. Again the Volo was still lighter in weight. The volo is 99.99 and the triumph between 130.00 to 160.00, but if you really need the canopy and the rain cover seat cover which is the option package you will be paying about 150.00 for the volo in total. If all you need is the stroller without option package then 99.99 is all. Remember that the canopy is not removable from the triumph stroller if you need to remove it for whatever reason. One plus that made me buy the volo with the option package is that the canopy is better than the triumph or any other maclaren stroller. Why? Because the canopy covers and protects more from the sun more than the others and it also closes in one slight push back. It stays completely flat and the arch that holds the canopy is metal. The triumph has a platic arch which breaks easier. I previously had a daytripper and the canopy broke. The volo is the best option for me even at 99.99 + 49.99 . The frame of the triumph looked the same as the body of the volo. The difference was the canopy and the weight which for me made a difference.
