This CD is an absolute must-have for every music lover! I just love this CD! This is some of the most exiting new music that I have heard in years. What an astonishing first album! Heart-pounding grooves, unexpected meter changes, beautiful melodies and exotic instruments, this album has it all! On top of that, Chi-Hui Liang has surrounded herself with truly worldclass musicians. I hope to hear much more of her music in the near future.
Wow! A technical rhythmic masterpiece
The use of different rhythmic patterns and time signatures kept me off balanced, which is good, because as a listener I like to be suprised. The use of the doubled erhu in Track 4 is definately a first in music. The musicians are top notch, no doubt. A+. Her particular authentic blend of east and west is definitely a first. Grammy material
Beautifully Composed
Chi-Hua Liangs new EP, Vita Eterna blew my mind away. Each track has a hint of many different music flavors, but it's heart is Asian/Jazz fusion. She managed to orchestrate many different instruments together into something beautiful.
You'll be craving more by the time you are finished with the CD. If you are a music lover, PLEASE pick this one up. You will not be dissapointed.
