For that special dinner party or brunch, this stylish warming tray is indispensable. Not only does it warm a stack of dinner-sized plates, but keeps casseroles, pies, platters of pancakes, or whatever’s on the self-serve menu toasty. The sleek tray features highly polished, die-cast aluminum handles for strength and a cool touch, and a heating surface made of tempered black glass. Inscribed in the upper right corner of the glass is a red, five-inch Hot Circle. While the main surface can be adjusted to temperatures ranging from approximately 150 to 250 degrees F, the Hot Circle stays at a constant 300 degrees F, making it ideal for keeping coffee, gravy, sauces, or soup hot. With a low profile of only 1-3/4 inches in height, the 11-by-25-1/2- inch tray stores out of the way on a shelf on top of or under (with the use of protective padding) other items. The glass surface measures 10-1/4 by 20-3/4 inches (213 square inches), and the 4-1/2-foot cord detaches for storage. To clean, simply wipe the glass top and handles with a mild detergent or use a glass-cleaning spray. For best results, avoid cutting or placing food directly on the glass.
