unlike the previous reviewer I did not have a dead pixel. in fact the dead pixel policy is pretty much standard across the board, even with companies like Dell. <

Bad Pixels. Bad Responce Time. Poor Customer Service
(...) I thought... wow .. awesome. Then I got it home and relized why. It had 1 bad pixel, a red one in fact. Now this may not annoy some but when you buy any product it should be working at 100%. Why should someone else have a perfectly good one and I get stuck with a bad pixel? I called viewsonic about the warranty, which they wont honor because they allow up to 4 bad pixels on the 15 inch displays! So unless you have more then 4, you have to deal with it. Why should any person pay good money and have defects that the company allows in there product and refused to fix? <
>Second the responce time is very poor. 23ms. If you dont know what this means it means the difference between a nice smooth scrolling screen of text, and a screen of text that blurs untill you stop scrolling. Its basically lag time in the screen when movement takes place and how the image holds up. Its annoying. <

Im not happy with the quality and would have been fine if it was replaced atleast for the bad pixel, but they wont even do that for their customers. I find that ridiculous. I know the more expensive Viewsonic monitors are nicer but stay away from this one. For the 174$ price on Amazon dont even reach for your wallet, just pass it by.
