Dan Elektro, for those out of the loop, is a former editor at GamePro (B00005NIPK), a video-gaming mag whose staffers are idolized by legions of gamers and afforded near-superhero standing. (Other employees include Air Hendrix, Dr. Zombie, and Super8 Samurai.) Unfortunately, this flimsy action figure, outfitted in a purple bodysuit and yellow booties, is unworthy of Elektro's cult status. The swiveling joints are designed and cut awkwardly (when the torso is twisted, for example, it suddenly becomes wider than the hips), and Elektro's wild shock of hair--a big, divoted blob of silver plastic--looks like an accident that happened back at the factory. Included are a display base and a list of Elektro's favorite hobbies, which include playing guitar, juggling fire, and watching New York Knicks basketball games. --Andy Boynton
