If I ever loose patience it's with this stroller!
This stroller in my opinion is a rip off. I bought the stroller thinking the more it costs the better it will perform NOT! This was a gift that my father purchased on my baby shower that I thought was the best gift! Directions? mmmm I think Peg Perego forgot that these are also sold in the US. I had a difficult time trying to fold stroller. You would think with a price tag very high it would be really easy. It's hard to put the over priced car seat into the stroller without it appearing as though the baby is going to tip over. (My son used car seat for four months, he outgrew it) Now where should I put my beverage??? mm on his tray? they gave me a cup holder that latches onto the side but I've lost three? Plus it fits a small water bottle or baby bottle? No tray for me I guess I can leave my keys on his tray? The worst is the seat belt? Peg perego forgot to install clips to ensure he doesn't tumble out. So far four calls to Peg Perego and I received car seat straps??? and the wrong color. Worst part is Peg Perego charged me for their mistake. They can't send me the part I need as they don't make it without them? So tell me how do I have one that was made without it? I paid 600.00 for something I can't see myself using? I'm sure if I did my homework that cost would cover my infant car seat, stroller, jogger, and new car seat. The only thing I like about it is it provides enough shade. DO NOT BUY!

Honestly, I Hate This Thing.
Yes, I know it's a Peg Perego. Yes, I know it's supposed to be the very best quality stroller made. But it's not all it's cracked up to be. I made the grave mistake of telling my parents when our son was barely out of the womb that we were looking at this stoller. We hadn't taken it for a test drive yet, and boom, they showed up with the stroller. it was a wonderful gift, and we very much appreciated it, so we accepted the stoller and have forced ourselves to like it. But the truth is Peg is taking all of us for a ride, people. The stroller is not a great feat of engineering. Here's why: <
> <
>1. The straps will get stuck under the stroller when you fold it up. This is a very big deal when baby is already in the stroller and you could swear the straps were not caught -- but they're sneaky and often are, indeed, stuck under there even tho they don't look like it. Other strollers have properly engineered convenient, safe straps, so why not Mr. Arrogant Big Shot Stroller Company? <
> <
>2. The instructions are ridiculous. Absolutely undecipherable. We pay alot for these strollers; I think Peg can afford a global Communications Team with able technical writers to prepare good instructions in English. I could not figure out how to fold up the stroller, and we tried hard. Had to get the info on that from a message board (thank god for Baby Bargains). <
> <
>3. While we're on the subject, I love Baby Bargains, and I think Denise & Alan Fields are amazing. But they're wrong on Peg's Venezia. <
> <
>4. The strategy for the wheels is completely unclear. Each wheel has 2 levers, one for locking, and on the other side a lever for directionality. The impact of lifting one of the direction levers in various combinations is not made clear at all; you have to guess. For me, a stoller novice, it was a nightmare the first time. I was nearly in tears as my stroller carrying my baby kept veering into the street despite my best efforts to stop it. I had to fold the thing up and drag it behind me to the car while carrying my baby in my arms, then did the trial and error thing to figure out the right lever configuration. Why not look at the instructions, you say? Good point, why didn't I think of that? Oh, right, cuz it wasn't in the instructions! <
> <
>5. No parent tray. I get it. The philosophy of Peg is that they're potentially dangerous to the baby. Well, again, there's a way to engineer these so they're safe. I can't stand Graco, but they sure got THAT one right. <
> <
>6. The child tray does not stay clicked into the stroller. I've tried everything, but this didn't work from day one. Apparently, it's a common problem. <
> <
>Ok, so do you still want this stroller? Well, here are the good things. It's obviously very well-made. High quality materials and has been very durable. Has taken a good beating from us in our roughly year of use. Another positive, the bag is pretty big. I am also very happy with the little loop clippy things at the sides of the handles. They're meant to keep the stroller folded, but they make great bag holders. Finally, there are endless ways you can configure the stroller. Forward, backward, hood, no hood, lay back, lean badk, up straight, feet up, feet down, with boot, without boot (lose the boot and ya get more bag). Haven't seen anything better there. <
> <
>The bottom line is that you should not be taken in by this stroller just because you're TOLD it's the best or because you want to APPEAR to have the best or because in theory it's SUPPOSED to be the best. We don't think it's the best. We're happier now than we were at first, but getting to where we are now took alot of time. It's not the worst stroller ever, and it has it's good points. But if we had it all to do over, we'd've done our homework ALOT better. <
