Try Other Games My 5 year old son understands the concepts of this game, but this game is not nearly as entertaining as other 6-8 year old Smartridges from Vetech like Aladdin, Spiderman or Batman. The problem with this game is in the Learing Adventure mode. My son must solve 10-12 spelling words before he moves onto another "path" or level. He gets frustrated because he is on the same board learning the same skill for an hour or so and then finally gets to move onto a new level. Much too long to keep his interest, so this one sits on the shelf a lot. I would stick with the other games I mentioned above to avoid frustration.
Another great game
Our little girl had mastered the other preschool programs and we were looking for a new game. Mickey Mouse was the perfect choice. Our 5 year old loves the games and we love all the different skills she building, while still having fun.
Keep to the age restrictions
I'm sure this is a great v-smile cartridge but beware of the age restrictions. I purchased this for my 3 yr old son who loves Mickey Mouse however when I bought it, I didn't know it was for 6-8 yr olds. My son is way to little to be able to enjoy it now but I know when he gets older it will be great.
