Customer Reviews of Ulti MAM Personalized Pacifier in Blue (set of 6)
Really cute, but more importantly REALLY CUTE These pacifiers are great! They fit luke's mouth even when he was a newborn and each pacifier comes with a plastic travel case that makes them easy to store in a diaper bag, in your pocket, or wherever. Of course, the real reason to get this set is how absolutly adorble they are. We got these as a shower gift ( my shower was 2 weeks after the birth), and everyone was stunned with how cute they are. So I would really reccomend these as a great gift for parents who will use a pacifier. <

>The personalization is just a cherry on top of a great product.

As for putting children's names on things being a safety issue...this just doesn't apply to infants. I have heard infact that you should not put children's names on personal items for safety reasons because it would let strangers know the child's name. Then the stranger could call the child by name and the child be confused as to whether or not they know them. I just don't think this applies to infants so don't feel like you are putting your infant in danger by simply having their name on their pacifier. I am an infant teacher at a daycare and I would love for all parents to use these pacifiers. Sure, you can write your child's name on the pacifier with a permanent marker but it will also wear off and is not nearly as cute as it being printed on there. I can't tell you how many times we have nearly given a child the wrong pacifier because most parents prefer that same kind of pacifier. As for it not being able to be attatched to the pacifier strap...well mam also offers a pacifier strap that fits their products. It has a soft round loop that slides over the button on the pacifier. For new moms i also might add that I have found that most (not all) infants have a harder time sucking on the silicone pacifiers than the latex pacifiers. Best of luck to all of you on your pacifier search.
No Names
I have always heard that you shouldn't put your childs name on anything they wear or carry (such as a backpack). This would be more important in Elementary age children, but I won't take the chance with my newborn either. A personalized pacifier looks cute but safety is more important to us.
