Beware of this product if you own a cordless phone! After using a Netgear access point, which died after one year, we decided to replace it with the USRobotics 2249 access point. It seemed to work okay at first, but suddenly started dropping the users (3 of us) constantly. We continued to use it to try and see what might be causing the drops. Finally, we called USRobotics (no 800 number, of course...), and we were informed that this unit is "sensitive" to 2.4Ghz cordless phones!
