It's own niche
It seems to me 'US News and World Report' has long had a niche of its. It has always given the impression ( at least to me) if caring much more about information per se rather than opinion in the way 'Time' and 'Newsweek' more tend to. It seems to me that it covers a wider range of world - events and areas. It also has special features and issues, especially the University issues which have helped so many. <

Registered Republican Cancels Subscription
I am a registered republican and I have cancelled my subscription. My parents and I have had subscriptions to this magazine for the past decade. Slowly but surely, the real news has been replaced by slanted editorials, biased war reports, and historical articles on Christian personalities. I feel I can no longer rely on US News for even-handed analysis of current events. Except for some of the contributing journalists and a few on the staff, the reporting has become irresponsible. I DO NOT WANT TO BE AN UNINFORMED CONSERVATIVE.
