Typhoon's Solutions line features innovative cookware that looks and feels uniquely modern while it "cooks up a storm," as the company's motto states. Made of catering-grade carbon steel (1.5 millimeters in thickness) with a Probon nonstick interior and exterior finish, this two-in-one pan is designed to unhinge for separate use when grilling meats, fish, and vegetables, and fits together when toasting and flipping overstuffed sandwiches and panini. Each half has its own handle. Wavy ridges inside each half leave decorative char marks on the cooked food.

Medium in weight, the pan feels substantial enough to take the heat. To protect the finish, only nonmetal utensils should be used during cooking, and the 12-1/2-by-7-inch pan should be washed by hand.
