Customer Reviews of Twin Swift Stroller in Navy with Hood and Mesh Basket
Was not all that I expected. At first glance this was the stroller for me. However once I received it and started using it, I found that it was not all that great. The first downside to it is that there ar no cupholders for children or adult. That was ok, we can get passed it. Second, it is not very easy to fold up once finished using it. Once again, not that big of a deal, we can get passed this. Third, it is not really very durable. If you intend on just mall walking or strolling along a very nice, level, smooth terrain, then it would be ok. However, to attempt to take it slightly off road, meaning grass, it will not work. The weight of the children pull the stroller in outside directions, causing the stroller to kind of buckle or flex in the middle. At one point I thought the thing was going to fall in half. The wheels were also going a little haywire and weren't all headed in the same direction. I ended up taking the kids out and just letting them walk, which totally defeated the purpose of buying the double stroller in the first place! It looks good, and serves it's purpose for those not wanting to go just slightly off road at the park or at the fair, in grass or a slight incline left or right. I have a double jogger stroller, but it is just too bulky and heavy for slight jaunts here and there and you can't maneuver it at all. But, I think I will have to return to using it after all. What a waste.
I cannot understand how anyone could purchase anything other than the Swift!
I am a mother of a 5 1/2 year old, an 18 month old, and a 7 month old...

>I needed a strong, comfortable, easy to use double stroller for the kids, and I didnt want a huge bulky one either... The twin swift is very simple, and doesnt have the bells and whistles that we never used on our sons single stroller, so why would we use them on a double?

>1. The stroller wasnt too expensive, and after searching EVERYWHERE to see it in person, we gritted our teeth and ordered it right off of Amazon... The swift came within the week, and all we had to do was pop on the wheels and the canopies... good thing when you are 8 months pregnant!

>2. The stroller is very sturdy, it will handle rough terrain and sidewalks with ease. It doesnt seem like it will break, and I feel that its 28 lb body makes it very safe, yet its still easy for me to lift. It has a two-handed fold, but this is okay being that I rarely fold the stroller with a baby in my arms anyway (even if it does have a one-handed fold!)

>3. The stroller manuvers well, fits through many tight spaces, and even most doorways. I can turn it with one hand, as well as steering it through a crowded mall... I rarely bump into anyone or anything either...

>4. I found the stroller to be very good for babies as well. The seats fully recline with one hand, which WAS important since I do this while walking... The recline is smooth enough if your child is sleeping, and it rarely gets stuck. The five-point harnesses keep a baby safe, and upright... They are easy to use, and comfortable, and also happen to be easy for me to adjust. The canopies cover an entire head, while also letting mom or dad see the children through the little windows in the back. The seats are also very comfortable, plush, and easy to remove for cleaning.

>5. The features for the parents are nice, like the tall and comfortable handles for steering. The baskets are pretty small, but we rarely carry a bag thats too large to fit in the baskets, you just have to carry only whats truly needed. We can also manage to keep shopping bags over the handle bars without them banging against the stroller, or tipping it over.

>6. We have taken the Swift to the airport, zoo, aquarium, to NYC, malls, park, beach and everywhere else we go. Other than a single umbrella stroller, the Swift is the only one we own! We are glad that the Swift can provide our children with a comfortable ride in many situations, saving us precious $$$...

>I would recomend the Swift for anyone looking for a reasonably priced, reliable, and minimalist double stroller...
We love our Twin Swift
After much deliberation, my husband and I decided on the Twin Swift (in Navy) for our twin sons, who will soon be 11 months old.

>(*1*) The twin swift clears doorways easily. I can fit through EVERY door I come across, EXCEPT for restrooms, small aisles, or the smaller shops/stores.
<
>(*2*) The stroller maneuvers incredibly well also. I can turn the stroller with minimal effort, and I can even push it single-handedly, or my 5 1/2 year old could push it easily as well!
<
>(*3*) The size isn't too large, and its only 28 lbs too! Once folded, its the size of an average golf bag too, which is a lifesaver! I would really warn you since its not a one-handed folding mechanism! I can sometimes manage with a hand and a foot, but find it LESS time consuming to just use two hands.
<
>(*4*) The kids have five-point harnesses that I love. They are anchored on correctly, and safely, something a little worrisome about the Aria Twin stroller! It holds them well, and compensates for the Swift's lack of belly bars/snack trays! Its also easy to use the Swift without the shoulder straps.
<
>(*5*) I love that the seats recline well for the babies, not fully down, but low enough to be utilized as a changing table! It also sits high-enough for fidgety 2 year olds (my nieces). I cant recline the seats while walking, but I can do it WITH CAUTION while the boys are sleeping...
<
>(*6*) The storage is extremely lacking. The only storage are two small mesh baskets! I had to look high and low (for MONTHS!) until I found a durable, thin, "organisable" diaper bag that could hold our minimum needs! In the other basket I can fit my daughters book bag, OR my purse, OR a few receiving blankets. All of the shopping packages are kept on the handlebars, and they dont unbalance the stroller at all! Sadly, the Swift also doesn't have compartments for me and daddy, but that's compensative!
<
>(*7*) The canopies are a very high point in the Swift. They are large enough to cover the twins no matter WHAT the recline position is! They also have a "window" so that you can see your babies as well! They are tall, so older children are fine, and its easy to attach the rain shield that we bought separately... which is great!
<
>(*8*) The wheels swivel, and they turn so easily. I love that they are durable and help absorb bumps, cracks, and a bit of gravely surfaces.

>We love the Swift stroller, and even purchased two cup holders for me and my husband, and a hook on snack tray for the boys! A great stroller, that we just cannot get enough of!
