A little too neurotic I find it pretty sad that someone was actually offended by these cards. Blasphemy? I'm afraid not. Are the children who perform these parts in school and church musicals blasphemous too??? I have figurines of the manger scene; is my ceramic blasphemous??? People like you are the reason people think Christians are crazy. Thanks.

Lighten up--to the one who claims to be an insulted "Christian" by the 12 Dogs of Chistmas cards. For Pete's Sake, these cards were recommended to me by one of the nicest Christians I know! The card with the Maltese as the baby Jesus is just precious. The message I get from these cards is that God loves his animals too. (Especially the Maltese!) Since I have a Maltese who looks exactly like the one on this card, it's the perfect card for us to send. Everyone who knows me knows that I love my dog more than *just about* anything else in this world. This Christmas, these are the perfect cards to send to your dog loving friends & to your friends who know you love your dog. Wise Christians will not be insulted in the slightest.

Unfortunately, everyone doesn't share the peace, love, innocence and compassion that animals teach us. However, they were created by the same God Who created us -- the same Saviour Who chose to be born in a manger with the animals! No, these cards are not sacrilgious. A picture of the Blessed Virgin splashed with elephant dung and labeled "art" - that's sacriligious! May God's peace be with all creatures!
