An Interesting Collection of Folk Icewagon Flu is an interesting band. I was introduced to them through a Celtic music site - they received a rather high review, so I purchased this cd. <

The album runs of the gamut of very folk-inspired songs (such as "Stormcloud"), slow, lyrically-driven ("Trouble Has a Car"), irish punk/traditional ("La Ceba", "Whiskey and Soda"), psuedo-rap ("Jivin' Jones") and just plain quirky ("Virgin and a Pornstar"). All of it is pretty good, but it's kind of difficult to make an album "flow" well when the songs vary to such an extent. <
