Customer Reviews of Triumph Premier Convertible Car Seat - Stonehenge
Be advised I've noticed a few people stating that they had their car seats "professionally installed." Well, the teen boy working part time at the Babies R Us is not considered a professional car seat installer. Take the seat to your State Troopers! They have to show you the proper installation!
Excellent product, and I received it free!

Excellent Product!
I first bought the Safety 1st Intera and it was horrible. Now I know why it's not sold at Babies R Us. It took us hours to try to figure out why it still wobbled way too much. Finally, we decided that it's time to buy another car seat. We went to Babies R Us and looked at all the car seats. The Safety 1st car seat was a 3 in 1 seat and was way too huge and the back was too high that I couldn't see out the window. The sales person told us that we should go with a car seat that only goes up to 40 pounds instead of 65 pounds. She said that on average, that should be good until the child is 4 years old. I learned that buying one of those 3 in 1 seats is a waste of money even though it seems like it makes sense to buy a infant-toddler-booster seat in one purchase, it really isn't. My 8 month old is 20 pounds and is too big for a infant seat and too small for those 3 in 1 seats.

>Okay, so now back to this seat. We had my son try it out in the store and he loved it. The sales person showed us how easy it was to install. We decided to install it in the parking lot just in case we needed help we could have the sales person come out and help us. I have to say, in less than five minutes, it was installed, and it does not move around what so ever. It's very sturdy. We just love the knobs to tighten the straps, it's a great feature.

>Last but not least, I asked the sales person what the hype was about the Britax and if it was worth the money. She said that there's Styrofoam in the Britax AND the Triumph that most car seats don't have that will absorb the shock from a car crash. She said that both are equally safe, however the Britax have been tested 100 times more than the Triumph, that's why they can sell it for the price that they do. With that said, it was the Triumph that was worth half the price, is more comfortable and cushioned and was the easiest thing to install.
