Great features
I received this as a shower gift, and wasn't sure if this was exactly what I wanted, since the description listed here is not very complete. This item has both the bassinette and lite vibes feature, which is what I was looking for, and has a light on it, vibrating feature to soothe baby and both playtime and naptime music selections. There is a volume control and control for the vibrations also. It is a very sturdy item, easy to assemble and set up, and comes with the bassinette, parent organizer and travel tote bag. There are wheels on front of the playard, making it easy to maneuver. This is the most complete playard I have seen, and can't wait to use it. It's not the most expensive, but is well built and has the best features, and is far superior to the Graco playard I had for my son. The only issue I have is that the playard does NOT come with any sheets, and not sure how that will work with the bassinette feature. That would be a nice thing for Kolcraft to add. The lite vibes unit takes 4 AA batteries, and is removable if you don't want to use it.

AWESOME and versitile playard!
I bought this playard when my son was 3 wks old. The features on it for the price, you CAN'T beat. It was VERY easy to set up (I set it up myself--READ DIRECTIONS!) and the music/vibrate/light features are easy to understand too...hit once to turn on...hit again to turn off..NOW, was that so hard? It's wonderful. The bassinet holds an infant up to 20lbs, so it's a great changing table, as well as a "sleeper" for the little one. And because of the vibrating feature, you can have your baby lulled to sleep. Breaking this playard down is just as easy as setting it up..and it's very portable! Now that my son is nearing 7 months old, I may just buy ANOTHER one just to have at my mother-in-laws house!
