Customer Reviews of Travel Lite Bouncer
Great, unless you need to recline... We bought this chair to save on space when going to grandma & grandpa's house and on vacation - it definitely meets this requirement. It folds up much easier than I would have thought, and takes up much less space than our original bouncy chair. It's sturdy, works as advertised, etc...my only complaint is that it does not recline. Depending on the age of your baby, this may or may not be an issue - mine is only 6 weeks old so it's a disappointment. That said, it should be less of an issue as she gets older and spends less time sleeping in it.
A great item for folks on the go
We're planning a trip to Japan with our 6 month old next month and have been looking for a fold up bouncer. Our baby is 5 months old and often falls asleep in her bouncer and spends a lot of time relaxing in it. We usually packed our old bouncer into our station wagon for weekend trips, but it took up a lot of space. (...). Yes, it really is portable, and even comes with a carrying case. It is really quick and simple to fold and unfold. It looks and works as advertised, except for the removable toy bar. The toy bar has a cheap snap-on fastener for both sides, that is way too loose and falls off easily when my baby grabs and pulls on the toys. I'll probably buy some elastic velcro bands to try to keep the toy bar attached to the seat for her. The canopy has button down snaps on both sides of it, to keep it shading the baby, and to conceal you from view as you bounce her to sleep. We are pretty pleased with this product. Since it is a travel version, it is more narrow than most bouncers, but if you buckle your baby in, that shouldn't be a problem. It does use 3 AA batteries, versus only one for my other bouncer, which was a suprise, but it has a two speed vibrator and two choices of music, both with a 30 minute automatic timer, which helps save battery life. This fits the bill for what we were looking for, and should be a life saver on the airplane for that long flight to Asia.
Great concept - needs a few improvements
I just bought this today and unfortunately it's going right back to the store. My little girl is 8 weeks old and literally slid to the side the second we let go of her because the back is so elevated. She often sleeps in her bouncy seat and this product definitely wouldn't allow for that. Two speeds of vibration was nice. Ocean sounds and calm music were great options too. But if my kid can't stay in it safely - it's not worth it. It was however very easy to snap into place and then fold back down again. It also seemed that the toy bar hung well out of her reach. Overall, great concept. Just recline that seat more and they might have a real winner.
