Played with for years! I was surprised by so many poor reviews of this toy. My son LOVED it, and I only recently was able to pass it on to others--he's almost five now. It was great for imaginative play, even as he grew older and he would turn the different pieces into parts of costumes---cone hats, flower faces, playing peek-a-boo with the detachable mirror. I would get it again for him in a heart beat.
Leaks
I had this toy for 1 day and it leaked, so I returned it. My daughter really didn't seem all that interested in it anyway. She seemed the most interested in the water part, and you can buy much cheaper water filled mat toys. It's really not worth the money, and it does tend to leak.
A Big Waste of Money
I was really excited about this toy. I was very forgetful when it came to putting my son on his tummy, so I thought this would be a great toy for him to have some good quality tummy time on. Wrong. He could care less about this toy. The second I'd lay him in front of it he would just roll onto his back. He was five months old when we bought it, and it is just sitting there. He STILL loves his Gymini and he is six months old now. Also, by the third day the aquarium had sprung a leak..which apparently has happened to almost everyone who has bought this thing. Do not purchase this toy, it takes up too much space, and it's a waste of money. Baby could care less about it.
