Excellent toy for stimulation and interaction!!
I bought this toy for my son, who at the time was 8 months-old. I bought the version geared toward older children ranging from one to three years of age. The video/toy is rather expensive costing around $50 at our local toy store. I didn't want to have to buy a second one later to keep up with my child's growing intellect. At any rate, at first he paid attention to the interesting characters on screen but moved on to other toys shortly. After a month of occasional viewing, this video has sky rocketed to his favorite selection. The video makes more direct contact to the viewing child along with the stuffed toy synched to the show. My son claps along to the appropriate songs and even laughs at the humor in the program. It gives me great pride to see he has actually learned from this video rather than just watching it as he does other educational videos. He enjoys this video more because he is able to interact with the characters rather than sit and become hypnotized by what is on the screen. I love this toy and will recommend it to just about anyone. (Even my husband enjoys watching the video with my son!)

Tiny Love Interactive DVD
We purchased the Cow for my 1 1/2 year old son for Christmas and he absolutely loves it!!! He wants to watch it every night before bed. He picks up the stuffed cow and says "Moo-Moo" and puts it in front of the TV to synch it. The songs are great and he has learned many new words from playing along. It also came with a CD for the car which my son loves to listen to. I found that I have to sometimes turn the volume of the TV up to synch it and then lower it when the video starts. Also, occasionally if my son shakes the cow too hard it will lose its synchronization. I highly recommend this toy and it has kept my son's attention for the last three months.

Samara gives it 2 thumbs up!!
I recently purchased Dot the Cow for my 15 mos. old daughter, Samara. From the moment I took Dot out of the box, my daughter LOVED it! She didn't want to let her go. I had to wait until dinner tme to put the batteries. My daughter reluctantly handed her over. By reluctantly, I mean she pitched a fit to the high heavens and the cow had to pried from her arms. Samara loves laughs and giggles with on screen characters and dances when they sing. My only issue is with the battery compartment. I am having a hard time screwing the screw in far enough so the batteries stay engaged. When they lose contact, it causes the cow to unsynch and I have to start it at the beginning of a chapter to re-synch it. Samara doesn't seem to mind, though.
