Customer Reviews of Tilt - Season One
Masterpiece Simply put, one of television's crowning achievements of this or any era. Madsen's acting is remnant of Marlon Brando in The Godfather. The character of Nickel is indisputably one of the most multileveled and perplexing in the history of drama, displaying Chris Bauer's massive and unfaltering acting prowess. <
>Tilt's dialogue is so natural that one often forgets that he is watching a piece of dramatic fiction, and not a documentary. The writing is top notch. Such a blend of drama, action, comedy, and nickel has never before been seen on the screen, and it brought a tear to the collective eye of millions of viewers every week. <

>My only regret is that Tilt was released as a weekly series, instead of as an epic film trilogy as originally intended. If not for the hollywood fatcats' politcal agendas, Tilt could have swept the Academy Awards like an unforgiving flood, and been seen as the greatest film trilogy of all time.
One of the worst shows in the history of television.
Many poker players objected to this show because it portrays poker in a bad light. My objection to this show is that the screenwriting was arguably the worst I've seen on any prime time television show in my life. The dialogue is terrible, the situations are inane, and the premise is laughable. Sure, this describes a great deal of what's on television, but it is my opinion that these negative qualities are greatly amplified in Tilt.

>No serious poker player I've ever talked to has a single kind word to say about this show. There is plenty of respectable poker material out there. The Cincinnati Kid, Rounders, the World Series of Poker, each have their flaws, but all are many orders of magnitude more enjoyable than this mess.

great show
If you like poker and especially Texas Hold em, you will definitely love this show. In addition to that, there are a lot of hot girls, some action and vegas life.
