Customer Reviews of Thermaltake Tsunami Dream VA3000BNA - tower - ATX ( CH-VA3000BNA )
nice case for my new computer I purchased this aluminium case to house my new Pentium Xeon dual processor computer. The shipping cost was $32 via standard ground to Hawaii. Here's a few things I liked about the case: <
> <
>Three large quiet fans; two exhaust and one intake. The fan on the Thermaltake power supply I purchased from another source is louder than all three fans on the case. <
> <
>The 'no-skrew' rail attachments that come with the case make installation of hard drives and optical drives a simple one. <
> <
>The additional USB outlets inside a popup lid on the topside of the case is an excellent feature. I use them for my USB hard drives, charging my iPod shuffle and syncing my PDA. The ones in the back are used for my USB keyboard and mouse. <
> <
>The 'intelligent' internal power cord management system is a nice feature. Although, I would have liked one or two more power connectors. This due to having several components that require power directly from the power supply; a Radeon gamer graphics card, two 'wind tunnel' fans included with the Xeon processors, two SCSI drives, two optical drives, the LEDs at the front of the Thermaltake case and a floppy drive. <
> <
>The case is light, but solidly constucted. This was important for me due to the extra 3+ pounds added to the case weight by the Xeon heat sinks and fans. This is the best case I've owned. <

Great case, but shipping not worth it
I ordered this case through Beyondwork with some work gift certificates I had received. They came back to me with a shipping cost of $212 for standard ground! I immediately removed the item and ordered from another vendor where I could get 2 day air for $30.

>My X2 4400+ Processor I left on my Amazon order, and shipping prices were normal. I am not sure why the Amazon/Tigerdirect shipping is so expensive for this 13lb case through here vs through other vendors. I love Amazon, but I would recommend ordering this case from elsewhere.
