My kids love it
I bought this for my boys, ages 6 1/2 and 9, because we all enjoy The Zack Files books by Dan Greenburg. The books are funny and engaging and perfect for a 2nd grade reading level. The show doesn't have much to do with the books, except that the main character is Zack. Like the books, weird things happen to him, but in the books he turns invisible or his grandpa comes back as a cat. The show is more like a tame X-Files and not silly like the books. Zack is 13 in the show, which appears to be the age group they're hoping to attract as an audience, unlike the books. I haven't heard my kids laughing, but their eyes are definitely glued to the tube. It looks well done, but honestly I haven't spent much time watching them. Besides, who cares what an adult thinks? The kids love it. One more thing - the set includes 26 episodes on 3 DVDs.
