Customer Reviews of The World
Pretty dull. Most of the songs on this album sound almost exactly the same. Also, most of the songs sound like a lame attempt to rip of the Clash and other early British punk bands. Overall, The World is pretty monotonous and boring, especially if you're used to hearing classic British punk and not the revitalists. Back at the Laundromat is a much, much better album and is recommended.
One Of The Best Hellcat Albums Yet
This album is in no way supirior to War Birth, but it does hold it's own. Each song is better than the last and is written and sung as only Duane could do it. It's a great album and anyone whose a fan of U.S. Bombs should own it.
not too shabby
Personally, I thought this album rocked. I read some of the other reviews, and they said it wasn't as good as War Birth, and I can't say that I disagree with them. It's still a really good album though, especially if you like quasi-anarchic old school punk. If you like it, also be sure to check out The Clash, because they're the ones who started it all.
