Customer Reviews of The Wayans Bros - The Complete First Season
Finally... I grew up watching The Wayans Bros. religiously. Thursday nights was Wayans Night (when Martin went off the air). Years later, it has been taken off of re-runs on the WB and I was left craving to see the Wayans. With the release of the In Living Color series came one of the most anticipated for me, The Wayans Bros. I missed Pops and his classic line "Bang Bang Bang!" and "Yit Tee Tee". Marlon was always the funniest and wackiest of the two. This first season gave me a breath of relief but I am still waiting for the more funnier seasons to be released. The next show I am demanding is Martin!
One of those typical 90's sitcoms
The Wayans Bros. was one of those typical 90's sitcoms. Two wacky guys, working at a diner, getting into all sorts of trouble with their hijinks. Nothing really stood out about it.

>The Wayans brothers themselves are pretty funny, but the writing for this show was nothing more than typical sitcom drivel. They got into wacky situations that were over by the end of the half hour. Don't get me wrong, I did chuckle quietly a couple of times. No laughing out loud, though.

>If you're looking for something to watch with the Marlon and Shawn Wayans in it, pick up something like White Chicks. Don't even bother renting this one.
Finally
I glad that WB, finally had the "grapefruits" to release on DVD. Man, this was my show. I used watch the Wayans Bros every Thursday night. I'm lose without words...Can't wait for Season 2 to come out
