Ok but not as good as the original This is the sequel to the original. It starts when Timmothy is you about five. Then it jump foward to where he is in late adolescents. This is a lot less intense than the original. The female mouse charter Jenny I think is very hot. Timmothy is very handson. This is a musical less of and adventure film like the original was. There is a couple of cheesy parts in it. When Timmothy is reunited with his brother martin after he has become evil he sings a musical number trying to persuade time to help him in his diabolical plan to conquer Thorn Vally. I also thought the scene where the Capterpillar Sisla cons the wood land creatures out of there money by having jeremy the crow pretend to be the wise grate owl. Of course there scheme failed they are chased out of the tree by an anger mob off woodland animals. I liked the evil cats but I thought there arms were to musucular. The cats have more muscle than Timmothy. Who is pretty musuclar for a mouse. Will martin conquer thorn Valley find out in the spingtingling conclusion.
Disturbing.
This film is a cross between a Rescue Rangers type film and Frankenstein. It is VERY FRIGHTENING for little children and it takes away from the original awe-inspiring film, The Secret of Nimh. The animation is very poorly done and it is quite obvious this film was rushed together to put more money in the MGM management's pockets. What a waste of money! DO NOT BUY THIS FILM, YOU WILL MOST LIKELY REGRET IT!

I watched this movie with my sisters and was foolhardy enough to really think I would enjoy it. I couldn't believe how ridiculous it was! The characters are completely different, the animation terrible, and the story line dark and utterly strange. It made me very angry. The first movie was very good--a little off from the book, but still a lovely story. But take it and continue it to make the most ridiculous movie ever made? I was very upset.

My youngest sister enjoyed it somewhat, but to me and my other ten-year-old sister, we thought it was pretty disgraceful--but we had read the book. So, if you would like to check it out, you might consider renting it at your local video store before spending any money on it.
