Harry Nilsson wrote the entirely hummable songs (including the hit, "Me and My Arrow") for this charming, 1971 animation feature about a boy with a round head who is banished from the land of pointy-headed people. An allegory about nonconformism presented in a delightful way, this is a treat for everybody. Ringo Starr, the late Nilsson's old pal, narrates. --Tom Keogh

Customer Reviews of The Point
This has to be one of the greatest - ever. Ah, little Oblio. Life is pretty tough when you don't have a point in the land where everything has a point. Join Oblio and his dog Arrow on the adventure of a lifetime - and enjoy the innovative animation and stellar soundtrack along the way. This is arguably Nilsson's finest. <

>This story is a classic that will warm your hearts and put a smile on your face. You'll likely want to name a pet after one of these characters before it's all over. (My parents were fans of this movie too, and I grew up with Arrow the miniature poodle as a result!) <

>Highly recommended for all ages. The story is all grown up, but the delivery transcends time and will enlighten generations to come.

Haven't seen this movie in years. Glad to get it on DVD. Good quality, and arrived as stated.
The best story to watch with your family.
This is the best story to watch with your family. We love the music and how Oblio and Arrow's adventure turns out. All of these son's have been featured in other movies (You've got Mail) and on TV.
