Customer Reviews of The Matrix Reloaded
Reloaded and Ready Breakdown of the songs:
"Session"-Linkin Park: This is an ok song. Personally, not what I feel is the best on the album.
"This is the new sh**"-Marilyn Manson: I love the song. It has some interesting background music. One of my favorites on the album.
"Reload"-Rob Zombie:A really good Zombie song. It sounds a bit techno but still heavy with a traditional zombie sound. A Great Track!!
"Furious Angels"-Rob Dougan: It is another ok song. Sounds a bit too much like his last one for the original matrix soundtrack.
"Lucky you"-Deftones: I love this song! It sounds really sexy to me, with a interesting combination of vocals and music. Possibly the best song on the album.
"The Passportal"-Team Sleep: I really enjoy this one. It is a hip techno/adventure song to me. I can see Neo and Trinity heading off to face the world with this song.
"Sleeping Awake"-POD: Another alright song. I don't love it but i don't hate it. It starts off good but gets a little soft. With me either rock out and stay that way or stay soft.
"Bruises"-Unloco: If you want to rock out, this is your song. I have heard a few of their songs before. This one is one of their better ones.
"Calm Like a bomb"-Rage: I have never been a large rage fan. Every album has a bad song, and for the matrix reloaded, this one is it.
"Dread Rock"-Oakenfold: I am a big techno fan and i love oakenfold. Great song
"Zion"-Fluke: I have never heard of them but I love this song. Another great one.
"When the world ends"-Dave Matthews Band: Great song remixed. Another one of my favorites! This is one of the best.
Conclusion: The cd is worth having. A few songs are lackluster but overall, this is a must for the cd collection. it is filled with all genres of music, for the hardcore fan. I love an album with variety.
Good, but a disappointment after the first soundtrack.
While the original soundtrack to "The Matrix" was heavy, loud, and intense, the "Matrix Reloaded" feels... watered down. There are plenty of good songs here, but most of it can be easily skipped. Linkin Park and Marilyn Manson turn in average tracks, and Rob Zombie offers nothing that we haven't heard before. Rob Dougan was excellent on the first soundtrack, and "Furious Angels (Instrumental)" is another great song. But I've also heard the version with vocals, and feel that this song would have been much better if the lyrics were left in-tact. Deftones have a beautiful, mellow, song - very different from "My Own Summer." P.O.D. is fair, but Unloco sticks the rock roots that made the first album work. Rage is cool, too... but "Wake Up" was more appropriate. Oakenfold has an upbeat track, and Fluke works pretty well. Dave Matthews Band have a big surprise to offer, as their song closes the first disc with a bang. On the second disc, the first two tracks are virtually identical with the original. Juno Reactor's "Teahouse" is a fun track with drumming, and Rob Dougan's "Chateau" is a sweet mix of classical and techno. "Mona Lisa" and "Burly Brawl" are awesome tracks; the pairing of Juno Reactor and Don Davis was a fantastic idea. They are easily the highest points on the album, and I can't wait to see them on film. The 17-minute suite closes the second disc.
Overall, a mixed package - hopefully, the movie will be better than the soundtrack.
The Matrix Series has the best music out of any movie series
I love this soundtrack
Zion is probably been played more times than any other song in the past 2 years it is by far my favorite techno track
