There's no need to wait until everyone is out of the house to clean anymore--the Hoover EmPower upright features a Hush mode for quiet cleaning anytime. Hard-to-clean messes quickly vanish with the to the Power Boost feature, while pollens and allergens are removed by the allergen filtration system and the long-lasting Teflon-coated HEPA filter. Instead of disposable bags, the system uses a dirt cup, which is see-through, so it's easy to tell when it needs to be emptied. The cleaner is easy to lift due to a convenient carrying handle, and for transporting, just put the handle in the upright position, tilt the cleaner back on the rear wheels, and push forward.

Several on-board tools are available for time-saving, efficient cleaning. The dusting brush is perfect for items like carved furniture, tabletops, books, lamps, lighting fixtures, Venetian blinds, baseboards, shutters, and registers. The furniture nozzle works great for upholstered furniture, draperies, mattresses, clothing, automobile interiors, and carpeted stairs. The crevice wand, which stores inside the extension wand, helps with hard-to-reach spaces like corners or along edges in places like dresser drawers, upholstered furniture, stairs, and baseboards.
