One of the most used tools in my toolbox
This little tool is one of the most used tools in my toolbox. It seems like I'm always trying to control a power cord in my office, or stabalize something on my boat, or tie something up in my garage. I've bought packages of "zip ties" and it always seems like they are either giant or too small. You can always gang two or more zip ties together to make a larger cord, but frankly it's just not as convienant as doing it once, quickly, and right with this little guy. <

>The biggest downside to this tool is that when you get to the end of the spool the plastic cord is so kinky that it can be a little annoying to handle (I wish it didn't try to hold its shape quite so hard). Also, I bought this in a store years ago and I haven't seen them in a long time. I just ran out of the little locks (I use those up much faster than the cord, which I've never replaced until now; it's 50 feet long!) which is why I found this entry and decided to add my $0.02. <

>Also, I wish you could buy just replacement locks, rather than having to buy locks and 50 more feet of cord (I've purchased the replacement package in the past and have misplaced the extra cord while using the hundred locks). I'd love to purchase just a package of 200 locks. <
