Steve Oedekerk (who wrote and directed Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls) masterminds a series of movie parodies in which the actors are replaced by thumbs--more specifically, thumbs with eyes and mouths digitally superimposed. The Godthumb has a script that would be funny even if performed by normal actors (something that can't be said for all the Thumbation movies), but the bizarrely high-quality thumb effects push it to the point of surrealism. The Godthumb parodies all the high points of The Godfather (the horse head in the bed, the death of Sonny, the orange peel), but it's at its best when it spirals off into its own peculiar universe. Fans of the Thumbation flicks will not be disappointed. --Bret Fetzer

Adopted Lawyer Son: This movie is a great movie, it has guns, gangsters, a God Thumb, meat cubes, rocket launchers, headless animals, and a robo-boogie-bot. It is a fine movie it is. After watching it you will learn that your life is now complete.

Thumby: What ifa they hatea the movie pops?

I never get tired of watching this movie
I have the entire "Thumb" collection and The Godthumb is, by far, my favorite. While the others are good, this is the only one that I have watched about a dozen times and will continue watching.

It's amazing how the most important parts of The Godfather are in The Godthumb (i.e. the horse head in bed, the orange peel, Sonny (Thumby) at the toll booth, etc.)

Steve Oedekerk is a genius. I can't wait for his next movie.

HEY! This isn't toilet paper!
This is the best thumb movie since Thumb Wars. If it wasn't for the Yoda puppet part in Thumb Wars, this would be the best one. This movie is full of funny things. The movie is not boring at all since there is something funny going on about every 5 seconds at the most. The big upside down mouth guy is in this movie and he gets choked to death with sausage links. It also has a guy in a badger costume that screams too. Har har!
