Customer Reviews of The Girl Who Had Everything (Thorndike Press Large Print Candlelight Series)
Kept my attention The book is a page turner. I couldn't put it down, I had to try my best (along with Jennifer) to figure out why Mary Ann killed herself. Who was behind it? Who was the father of her baby?
Why Would Someone kill himself or herself if he or she had
When I first picked the book from the shelf, I didn't think it would be good, because I don't like being told what to read and I had to find one really quickly. But, as I started to read it, I got into the subject. Maryann Rutherford was the girl who had killed herself and everyone is trying to blame her husband of three months of killing her. Maryann and Jimmy had eloped to go and get married and this is when everyone started to get suspicious because Jimmy was just an antique dealer and she was one of America's most favorite heiresses. Maybe this is because no one really knows about Maryann's relationship with her father and so all of the pieces to the murder are not found. When Maryann's husband is suspected of killing Maryann Jimmy her husbands sister gets involved and tries to figure out why this really happened before Jimmy is accused of something he didn't even do. Jennifer will not stop until she figures out the relationship with Maryann and her father and was this really the reason for her death. What I like most about this book is that I got very excited to get to the next chapter, and I just didn't want to put it down because the author keeps giving clues to try and figure out the murder and I just wanted to keep reading and reading. This book also relates to people who have died for unknown reasons and no one can figure it out and reading this book could answer some of the questions because it answered some of mine. So go and get this book and read it.
