Horrible Instructions!!
This bassinet was the worst thing I have ever had to put together. The instructions were very poorly written and the pictures to go along with them were even worse. The very frist instruction is: Unfold the Bassinet. Unfortunately the instructions are folded up in the bassinet so you don't know what the heck to do first and by the time you figure it out you've already got the first step done. My husband and I were about ready to throw it out the window. I think we decided that it's easier to put it together if you DON'T read the instructions and just figure it out yourself. The upside is that it is easy to move around, not too heavy, and I didn't have any trouble fitting it through doorways in my house. The nightlight is a nice feature also. Just be prepared for a difficult assembly.

Whoa, after reading those other reviews I probably wouldn't have bought this bassinet. However, I did make the purchase before reading those reviews. Honestly, I understand their complaints, but I myself have not had much of a problem with it. The night light has been a lifesafer when I am trying to check on my baby at night. The music and the heartbeat have soothed my child. It can be a little cumbersome when trying to carry the moses basket into another room, but no more cumbersome than carrying her car seat carrier around. We have not had a problem fitting it throught the doorways. My daughter suffered w/ acid reflux and we were able to use a feature of this bassinett to help sit her up. Her spit-up never went under the mattress, so we haven't had a problem spot cleaning that portion of the bassinet, but it would be nice to actually wash all of the fabric portions of the bassinet. The fitted bassinet sheet does come off and can be washed. It is a little lower than our bed and I can see where that may present a problem if you use it as a co-sleeper or a changing station (using her bed to change her just doesn't sound sanitary either), but it didn't present a problem for us. Standard bassinet sheets do not fit and since it is marketed as a travel bassinet, it should break down a little smaller so that you could actually travel with it. But come on, this is much better than a number of bassinets and certainly better than a dresser drawer!!

I picked this out as an unexperienced mom who liked it because it looked cute in the store. That wore off quickly when it wouldn't fit through any doorway in the house and real life baby care hit. I wanted to use it as a cosleeper but my STANDARD bed was much lower than the bassinet's lowest height. It "walked" across hardwood floors when rocked. The moses basket is very heavy and I didn't feel safe carrying my child even into the next room in it. The available sounds are not very soothing, only the handle vibrates (which is useless) and when you reach over in a dead sleep to put binky back in, your arm hits the light button and everyone's awake! And another thing, who wants to change a dirty diaper on something that can only be spot cleaned? I really don't think they tested this on a real family. Please don't waste your money. I'd rather put her in a dresser drawer!
