Customer Reviews of The Firm - Lower Body Shaping
GREAT for beginner or low intermediate HARD to modify! I would say just from previewing this video that this is a stellar beginner/intermediate FIRM video. This video isn't like other firms. It is produced by a company called "BodyLab" which I don't know who they are. The set is WAAAY different, and kind of resembles Anna Benson's new series FitPrime (Weights First set) w/a zebra rug, and in the backround there is a mural type thing, also there are fake animals and plants.
Kim Bartlett is a good instructor, like most all FIRM's and she gives good cueing because this workout is slower than most FIRMS.
Sometimes, I think you can modify a workout, but on this one, it is a good idea to follow the package and be a beginner or intermediate because this is what the tape was intended for!
I liked this video (i previewed because i noticed it was too easy for me!) although a more "classic" firm style tape would be the BASICS-fat burning, sculpting with weights, and abs buns thighs workout, where the background set is traditional FIRM.
Overall this video is great and supposedly geared toward over thirty exercisers, hence prime power.
Easy on the Knees!
I have many of the firm tapes, and this is quickly moving to the top of my 'favorites' list! It is a low impact workout, so there's no undue stress on the knees, and the cues are (for the most part) well done. There is one section of upper body arm work that could be slowed down a bit (for safety), but keeping that in mind, I thought this was an excellent addition to my firm library. Anyone used to the firm workouts--beware for a totally new and different cheesy background! Enjoy!
