Customer Reviews of The Deep End
one of the best albums you've never heard i was really impressed by this album. it's worth every cent.
3 & 1/2 Stars: Good But They Got Better
This is early, energetic, and now somewhat dated Q's. Although lyrics like "Your baby is a big fat tractor" never get old in my book. What needs to be reissued is their excellent, underrated, '86 recording 'Blue Tomorrow.' It's not as much fun, but the songs are better: more serious, a little darker, less B-52's-influenced, at times Springsteenian-with-a-Southern-twist (and I love the cover with the ponies). Their '89 finale, sans Boston, 'World War 2.5' is also very good but misses Boston.
There Is A Reason You Never Heard Of Them
The band is just as inexplicable and uninteresting as their name would imply.
