Charlatans U.K. I can believe the previous positive review. Own the laserdisc predecesor of this DVD (minus some tracks). This group is so underrated in the music world. Must have had bad management. As one of the group members states, you either love or hate them, no in between. I think they're great!!
If you are a Charlatans fan, this is a MUST have
Being a Charlatans UK fan since day one and having seen them put out good records and not so good records, I can honestly say that this DVD collection is such an unreal bargain. The live tracks in particular showcase what a phenomanal live band the Charlatans were, especially with Rob Collins. A few tracks are performed here to such perfection that it's nearly impossible to listen to the studio versions any more (those being the psychedelic "Everything Changed" and "Indian Rope", the band's anthem "Sprosten Green", and the surprisingly upbeat "Get On It"). The videos are good for nostalgic purposes, but the live tracks are worth the purchase. Enjoy this one. It's FANTASTIC.
